Hello! My name is Indah, and I’m a 22-year-old Psychology graduate from Indonesia. I’m a caring, patient, and responsible person who enjoys spending time with children and learning new things.
I’m interested in becoming an au pair because I would love to experience everyday life in a new culture, improve my German, and build a meaningful connection with a host family. I also hope to share my Indonesian culture, food, and traditions with you.

I have experience spending time and helping to take care of children of different ages. My main childcare experience is with my niece/nephew. I have been helping my older sister take care of the child from the age of 4 months until 5 years old. I regularly helped with simple daily activities such as feeding, bathing, playing, drawing, accompanying the child while learning, and teaching simple English. I was not the primary caregiver, but I often helped my sister when she needed assistance. I also have experience teaching English to junior high school students in Grade 7 and Grade 8 for six months. I prepared and explained English lessons and interacted with the students during the learning process. During my university community service program (KKN), I also worked with elementary school children. I participated in activities focused on emotional management, dealing with bullying, and developing positive social skills. I also once took care of a local resident’s child while their family was attending a village event. These experiences have helped me become more comfortable interacting with children, understand their different needs, and communicate with them patiently and positively.
